What Can I Submit and How To Respond To Articles
What Can I Submit?
There are sevral kinds of articles you might want to submit. These include: Music reviews, Movie reviews, Book reviews, Current issues, Local issues, International issues and social issues. Just to name a few. Most articles will fall under the broad umbrella of "opinion pieces".
Articles are not restricted by word size or in any other way, other than ToS and 'Guidelines and Forum Ideals'. We do, however, expect them to be a nice length. If it is too short, people are likely to tell you. What this means is, you just have to put a bit more effort in next time, or even better still, add to the article that was to short.
How To Respond To Articles
You can respond to an article in many diffrent ways. Personally I think that the best way to respond is to give your view on the persons writing style, and then look at the article as a prompt. Which means to give your views on the subject of the article.
Example: An article on whaling. You might respond with... Your writing structure needs a bit of work Tov, and your grammar is improving. Whaling is an interesting subject, I think it is wrong too. Though, I don't think hunting Japanese people is the solution.
It's better to respond in both ways other than choosing one. If you just respond with: Your grammar is terrible. Then there is no conversation led out of it, its a dead end. So lets try to be thoughtful with our answers.
