Hmm? How much harder do you wanna make it for yourself? xD
If you have transport to a train station the rest is relatively easy.
For instance, I'll take a Pakenham/Cranbourne train to Parliament station. Then it's a direct tram to LaTrobe. Sure, it'll take two hours, but who's counting right? ;D
Parliament station is in the loop, so unless you take a direct to Flinders, you'll pass through Parliament station.
